The newest World of Warcraft expansion: Cataclysm is about to be released and Vivi’s Guide is ready to show you how to get the most out of the game. The folks at Blizzard have again radically changed the game world of Azeroth and included many new zones, instances, and two new playable races. The classes and talent trees have been retooled. Even some of the old, familiar zones have undergone a transformation. But fear not, with lots of game guides such as Killer Guides Cataclysm guide, Uma’s WoW Cataclysm guide and Vivi’s Unofficial Cataclysm guide, gamers can obtain all the updated advice you will need to flourish in a world torn asunder.

Vivi's Cataclysm Guide
A new player will find Vivi’s Cataclysm guide a highly detailed source on how to play the game. It has a full overview of playing the new races, the Worgens and the Goblins. Then it will show you the quickest way to level your character by doing the most important quests in easy to follow walkthroughs. Following this guide, will get your character to the level 85 within a week. Vivi’s WoW Cataclysm guide explains the best way to handle every situation, whether questing, raiding or playing against other players. Killer Guides on the other hand is most suitable for hardcore gamers who want to stand out from the crowd. The tips and strategy recommendations in the guide proves to work wonders and most importantly, the strategies shared are unique and can’t be found elsewhere.
Vivi’s Cataclysm Guide is also full of advanced strategies for the experienced gamer. The mechanics for many of the classes have been retooled, resulting in a very different experience, even while playing the same old character. As for gold, all three guides, Uma’s, Vivi’s and Killer Guides Cataclysm guides show you how to make a lot of gold fast in their own way with different gold making strategies. With either one of the guide, it’s possible to hit the level 85 cap with more than enough gold to afford all the gear you need. In World of Warcraft reaching the level cap is not the end of the game.

Killer Guides Cataclysm Guide
The Killer Guides Cataclysm guide in particular has all the raiding strategies necessary to keep your group from wiping and advice on how to manage a guild with the new guild advancement system. The other two guide also covers this topic area, but from personal preference, I’d go with Killer Guides for raiding strategies.
Fortunately, all three guides are offered with free updates by the vendor, so a copy of either one is basically a timeless purchase. Getting a guide for Cataclysm can easily help you to avoid grinding away for hours for little return and is a legit way for you to improve your play experience of World of Warcraft Cataclysm.

Cataclysm is arguably the most ambitious Expansion Pack EVER made for an MMO. So what could go wrong? Mostly, the Developers fear they can’t get it all done by the deadline. So they MIGHT have to leave something out and add it in later. Candidates for the (Hopefully temporary) axe include:
Worgen Phasing: This is the most ambitious system in the game, so other than the Worgen initial Quest, they may leave Phasing out of the Expansion Pack, and phase it in (Late Warning: Horrible Pun!) later. All this does is provide individualized views of the gameworld, and allows players to see the changes they’ve wrought, or at even caused indirectly.
Abyssal Maw and Underwater Mounts: Underwater physics are tricky, so they might leave THAT out of the Expansion Pack at first, and add it in later.
New Battlegrounds: This Expansion Pack is supposed to focus on the 1-80 game, not necessarily the endgame, so they could add in Battlegrounds anytime. When it comes to fights and Cataclysm PvP, not EVERYONE likes PVP, and the game is balanced, supposedly, around PVE.
Flight: Flight IS mostly being added to compete with AION, although it has jetpacks instead of Angel Wings, but if WOW has gone this long with only run-and-jump, it can stay grounded a little while longer, right?
Guild Leveling/Talents: The best Guilds are a finely-tuned machine already, so they shouldn’t yet NEED extra Perks and tweaks, and this can always be added later—Plus, those extra Talents could throw off the balance of Guilds already tuned for the current system, rather than just enhance play!
Cataclysm Archaeology: Adding slots to the characters themselves is tricky, but even MORE so when you have to balance it, and make it rewarding, BUT not necessarily game-breaking. Those two are almost diametrically opposite objectives, especially since players don’t want to be given a shiny new toy, only to have it nerfed in the next patch!
So there you go, a short guide to Cataclysm. If you want to get a more detailed explanation, then this World of Warcraft Cataclysm Guide is the way to go. Not only will you get information about the expansion, but strategies, tips and tricks you can use and benefit from throughout.
Don’t worry, the new Races are all but a MUST, and the new, less-tedious methods of Questing in the WoW Cataclysm expansion will be added in as well. WOW Developers have learned and “evolved”, for lack of a better word, much since the start of WOW 5 years ago, and have realized that “Kill Ten Rats” Quests are no longer clever; in fact, they ADD to the feeling of tedium and being just a glorified exterminator, rather than a Hero. Uldum is “their finest piece”, by their own words, so they WILL add that to the Expansion Pack, since they’ve already spent nine months(!) on it ALONE. Here’s hoping they can get everything in, but if not, they can make a wise decision of what part to leave out and add in later…Or judiciously leave something incomplete that the players won’t notice, and finish it along the way!

When I first read that one of the main features of Cataclysm would be the addition of two new races I was interested, but not very excited. The primary purpose of a race is for aesthetic and roleplaying purposes and has very little to do with how the game works. This doesn’t mean I think their addition is completely worthless though. I had a lot more fun on my Dwarf hunter than on my Night Elf one, and the Blood Elves and Draenei were very integral to setting the mood and lore of Outland. This time around it is obvious that the WoW Goblins were a good choice for a new race. They already have very strong ties to the Horde and a well established presence in game. Their lore also fits well with the story of this WoW Cataclysm expansion since they originally worked for Deathwing long ago and their old home was destroyed by his reawakening. But when it comes to the Alliance it seems like we got the short end of the stick (Even if our new Worgen allies will fetch said stick for us)
Compared to the Goblins the Worgen don’t seem nearly as polished a race. In fact they aren’t even a real new race since at their core they are just humans, and the ability to switch into a human form is even more bizarre. It allows a person who doesn’t want to look like a monster to play the new race, but in that case you should just roll a regular human! The worgen also don’t bring a lot of good lore to the table compared to the goblins. Since they have been walled up in their city for the past few years they haven’t helped fight in any of the conflicts and the only tie they have to the events of Cataclysm is that Deathwing knocked their wall down. It is hard to believe that the alliance would take them in since they will be more refugee than ally, not to mention their shunning of the alliance during the Scourge invasion. Of course at this early stage we still don’t know everything about them and perhaps Blizzard will surprise us. Either way, I’m still reserving the name WorgenWebb.
